Hazel Dannell Baker

Hazel Dannell Goins Baker, 56 of Sanford, passed away Saturday February 7, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday (2/20/2026) at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Hazel was born in Sanford, daughter of the late Alton Goins and Bertha Ashburn Goins. She enjoyed riding horses, fishing, and watching shows at the Temple Theater. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Brian Baker.

Surviving is her daughter, Casey Oest (Chase); grandchildren, Bryson, Taygann, Brantley, and Timberlyn; brother, Otis Goins; cousins Rachel Goins Bayes (Keith), Becky Goins and Heather Goins; and significant other Wayne Munsell.
