Gaynell Layne
February 21, 1941 — January 11, 2019
Gaynell Coley Layne, 77, passed away on Friday January 11, 2019 at Carolinas Continuing Care Hospital in Pineville NC. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday at Tramway Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her mother Rachel Cameron Coley; son Scott Layne; and by four brothers, Gene Coley, Lester Coley, Ralph Coley, and Dwight Coley.
She is survived by her husband E.J. Layne; daughter Rhonda Layne Puckett and husband Jeff of Sanford; grandchildren, Tim Layne and wife Shannon; Ashton Layne Glynn and husband Ben of Texas; Maddie Puckett, Kara Puckett, and Katie Puckett; Great grandchildren McKenley Layne and Tripp Layne; one brother James Coley and sister Lynn Scholbrock of Wisconsin.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8pm at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
