Gary Alan Thomas, 59 of Olivia passed away Sunday January 11, 2026.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday February 14th at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt Gilead.
Mr. Thomas was born in Sanford, a son of the late William Broughton Thomas and Clara Dowdy Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife Miriam Haywood “Sissy” Thomas and a brother, Herbert Broughton Thomas.
Mr. Thomas is survived by siblings, Timothy Eugene Thomas, Manly Alton Thomas, Minnie LaRue Thomas, and Clara Susan Thomas; brother-in-law Larry Haywood; close friends, Terry Williams and Ellis Williams.
