Eric Albert Cogan

Eric Albert Cogan, 84 of Sanford passed away Thursday December 31, 2020. Private graveside services will be held.


Mr. Cogan was born in Detroit, MI a son of the late albert Nelson Cogan and Phyllis Davies Cogan. He retired from the US Air Force, Lowes Home Improvement, and Red Cap. Mr. Cogan was a member of Pocket Presbyterian Church.


Mr. Cogan is survived by his wife, Becky G. Cogan; step-daughter, Sara Welch (Randy); step son Warren Paschal (Renee); son Mark Cogan; daughter, Teri Maynard; brother, Dennis Cogan; grandchildren, Parker Banks, Cassidy Phillips, Avery Fields, Kelly Maynard, Laura Cogan and Tyler Cogan; three great-grandchildren. Mr. Cogan was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Cogan and two brothers, Norman Cogan and Alan Cogan.


Memorial contributions can be made to Pocket Presbyterian Church, Building Fund or the Pocket Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, 669 Pocket Church Rd, Sanford, NC 27330.

To the family of Mr. Cogan-
I had the great honor and pleasure of taking care of him while in the westfield. He always knew how to brighten up the room. He loved his chocolate milk, Hershey bars, and most importantly his family. Thoughts and prayers for you all! He will be remembered
