Emily Aileen Jones

Emily Aileen Jones 89 of Sanford passed away on Thursday 11/23/2017 at Westfield Skilled Nursing Facility. Memorial services will be held at East Sanford Baptist Church on Tuesday November 28 at 11 am by Reverend Robby Gibson.

Mrs. Jones was born in Lee County and was preceded in death by her parents Lillian Brooks White and Harvey Hay White; husband Samuel Lynn Jones; son Terry Lynn Jones; and grandson Samuel Thomas Jones.

Mrs. Jones is survived by a son Ronnie Jones (Sarah) of Sanford; Daughter-in-law Rosemary Harden Jones of Sanford; grandchildren Roxanne Jones (Manuel Gonzales-Munoz), Tara Jones Kelly (Chris), Alice Jones Leuchte, Melissa James, Christy Yunker Patten (Kenneth), and Michelle Yunker (Mack); Great Grandchildren Gregory Stone of the home, Alicia Lynn Estrada (Victor), Justin Lynn Chapman, Christian Marcum, Hailey Brooks Chapman (Jimmy Lee Womack), Charles Hunter III, Brianna Boahn, Austin Boahn, Alex McPherson, Dylan Patten, Tyler Parks, and granddaughter-in-law Amanda Hicks Jones; and four great-great grandchildren.

The family will greet friends following the service at the church and other times at the home.
