May you find comfort and strength in knowing that God loves us and he cares for us, through talking to him in prayer, and from reading from his inspired Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says: "How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 57:1; Psalm 55:22) jw.org

My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. While nothing will completely take away your grief by meditating on Gods promises found in the Bible you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Emily was a neighbor and a friend. I often took plates of cookies to her when she was in a nursing home. She couldn't see but always took my hand and told me how happy it made her that I would visit. She will be remembered.
