Eleanor Haynes Corns

Eleanor Corns, 91, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday June 11, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday June 14, 2024 at Cool Springs Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service starting at 10 am at the church.

She was born a daughter of the late Ernest Robert Haynes and Sarah Hughs Haynes. She was a nurse and a caregiver to everyone. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was dedicated to her faith, and she made sure to make God number one in her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Delano Corns; and siblings Ernest Robert Haynes Jr., Helen Haynes Edwards, and Virginia Haynes Williams.

She is survived by her children Barry Corns (Sue), Debbie Kay Corns Harris, Donnie Corns (Amanda), Kevin Lee Corns; sister in law, Coachie Haynes; and friend Jill Haug.
