Ed Delbert Gilmore

Ed “Delbert” Gilmore, 70 of Sanford passed away Thursday July 25, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Monday at Calvary Missionary Methodist Church.

Mr. Gilmore was born in Lee Co, a son of the late Mack Gilmore and Gracie Hall Gilmore. He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corp, retired from Performance Fibers, loved to go fishing and enjoyed cooking for crowds.

Mr. Gilmore is survived by his son, Darrell Gilmore of Sanford; daughters, Tracy Gilmore (Jeff Hall), and Miranda Gilmore; grandson, Casey Hall (Bree Edwards) and granddaughter, Trinity Gray; sisters, Betty Thomas (Jimmy), Liz Martin (JJ), and Daisy Edwards; brothers, Harold Gilmore and Walter Gilmore. Delbert was preceded in death by siblings, Eugene Gilmore, Mack Elliot Gilmore, and Jenny Whitt.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30pm Monday at Calvary Missionary Methodist Church.
