Dorothy Oldham

Dorothy Mashburn Oldham, 94 of Carbonton, passed away Tuesday July 25, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Friday at the Mashburn Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Oldham was born in Chatham Co, daughter of the late Archie Green Mashburn and Lizzie Mae Mashburn. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin Cornell Woolover and John Henry Oldham, and a son Randy.

Mrs. Oldham is survived by her children, Ann W. Staley of Carbonton, Terry Oldham and wife Jenny of Pittsboro, and Deborah Seawell and husband Ricky of Glendon; a brother, James L. “Sonny” Mashburn and wife Doris of Carbonton; grandchildren, Jonathan Seawell (Stacy), Phillip Seawell (Sybil), and Becky Oldham (Ricky); six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews including a great nephew, Drew Cox.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Carbonton United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
