Denson Jarrell Godfrey

Denson Jarrell Godfrey 72, of Sanford, passed away Thursday February 6, 2020.
Mr. Godfrey was born in Lee County son of the late Albert Sheppard Godfrey and Alma Atkins Godfrey. He was preceded in death by his brother Mitchell Godfrey. Denson retired from NCDOT after 32 years of service. He loved fishing and playing with his dog.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Arnold Godfrey; daughter Michelle Keener (Tim) of Sanford; granddaughters Laura Godfrey and Ashley Godfrey; sister Geraldine Jackson (Ricky) of Sanford.
