Dennis "Danny" Bercini

Dennis “Danny” Bercini, 78, of Sanford passed away on Sunday May 24, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 29, 2026, at 4pm at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 3pm before the service.

Danny was born in Lee Co. to the late Delores Spivey Congelli. He was a graduate of East Carolina University and a huge ECU football fan. Family and friends were big to Danny. He was a loyal friend and very humble to all that knew him. Danny lived at North Myrtle Beach for most of his working career and he loved beach music and shagging. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister Susan Bercini Carter.

He is survived by his sisters Michele Congelli Gallant (Ed) and Tina Congelli Sadlick; nephew Justin Daniel Patterson; and many special friends throughout NC & SC.
