Claudine Gates
October 26, 1931 — February 20, 2018
Claudine Johnson Gates, 86 of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday February 20, 2018. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday at Asbury United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Gates was born in Chatham Co, daughter of the late William Roberson Johnson and Mary Valdia Ward Johnson. She was preceded in death by brothers, Larry Johnson and Bill Johnson.
Mrs. Gates is survived by her daughter, Mary Gates of Raeford; a son Richard Gates of Fayetteville; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister Mary Kate Harris of Siler City and a brother, Carlton Johnson of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00pm Sunday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
