Carolyn Marie Gunter Smith

Carolyn Marie Wicker Gunter Smith, 71 of Sanford passed away Friday December 30, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Turners Chapel Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born in Lee Co a daughter of the late Clyde Wilson Wicker and Rosa Mae Cowan Wicker. She was preceded in death by husbands, Jimmy M. Gunter and James Smith.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Anita Gunter and fiancé Salvador Ramirez, Raymond Gunter and fiancé Patricia Philips, and Mary Gunter Mason and husband Lee all of Sanford; sister, Judy W. Garner of Sanford; two grandchildren, Harley Robbins and Davidson Holder; four great grandchildren, Serenity, Joshua, Alaina, and Elijah.

The family will receive friends starting at 10:00am Tuesday before the Funeral Service.
