Calvin Jones “Jay” Cox Jr, 64 of Sanford passed away Tuesday July 19, 2022. Funeral services will be held at Jonesboro Presbyterian Church at 3:00 pm on Tuesday (7/26/2022). Burial will follow at Broadway Town Cemetery.
Jay was born in Sanford a son of Ruth Cameron Cox and the late Calvin Jones Cox Sr.
Mr. Cox is survived by his mother, Ruth Cameron Cox; sister, Cindy C. Bussey (Bob) of Greensboro; brother Greg Cox of Sanford; three nephews, Gregory Andrew Cox, Owen Bussey III, and Preston Lynn Cox.
The family will greet friends Tuesday prior to the service starting at 2:00 pm at Jonesboro Presbyterian Church.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Tramway Fire Department, 5900 McDaniel Dr, Sanford, NC 27332.
