Burton Edward Gorton Jr, 60 of Sanford died Friday January 15, 2016 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Gorton was born in New York and retired from the US Army.
Mr. Gorton is survived by his wife Juanita Mober Gorton; two daughters, Chris Ann Daniel of New York, and Audray Mescall of Sanford; a son, Edward Andrew Gorton of Sanford; his parents, Burton Edward Gorton Sr and Lena Bessie Clemens Gorton; nine grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters.
