Betty Yow Kennedy
September 18, 1927 — January 8, 2022
Betty Yow Kennedy, 94 of Sanford peacefully passed away Saturday January 8, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Kennedy was born in Norfolk, VA, daughter of the late David Lewis Yow and Josie Black Yow. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Gilmer Kennedy Jr and her son in law Ted Hart.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her daughter, Brenda Kennedy Hart of Sanford; grandchildren, Ted Hart Jr (Cindy), David Hart (Lisa), and Kellie Parrish (Rodney). Nine great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Liberty Hospice, Phillip Lloyd, and Brick City Primary Care.
