Bernice Judd Allen

Bernice J. Allen, 83 of Sanford passed away Friday evening, February 15, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00pm Wednesday at Rogers Memorial Chapel. A private burial will follow at a later date.

Mr. Allen was born in Lee Co, a son of the late Refus Mills Allen and Bertha Mae Thomas Allen, and was preceded in death by his son, Tony Rex Allen. Bernice was a retired truck driver, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a prayer warrior who loved visiting.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Lettia Joyce Fogleman Allen; two daughters, Ginger Byrd and husband Robert of TX and Teresa Dunn and husband Dan of Knoxville, TN; two grandchildren, Bryan Vick of Sanford and Jennifer Hughes of Ft Worth, TX; a sister, Frances Granger and husband Bob of Sanford.

The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00pm Wednesday before the Funeral at 5:00pm.
