Barbara Jones

Barbara Holt Jones, 84, of Sanford passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2019. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 17, 2019 at 2pm at Ephesus Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born in Harnett Co., to the late Woodrow Holt and Mary Dennis Holt. She owned and operated her sewing company for over 40 years. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Robert Jones, sons, Randy Jones, Jamie Jones and Dennis Jones; brothers, Jack Holt and Gene Holt; and sister Linda Shurko.

She is survived by her daughter in law, Ruby Jones of Sanford; grandchildren, Joni Jones of Aberdeen, Carey Bishnoi (Akash) of Aberdeen, Chase Jones (Elizabeth) of Sanford; great-grandchildren, Jessica Ellis of Harnett Co., Daniel Critelli of England, Charlie Critelli of Aberdeen, Aryan Bishnoi of Aberdeen, Coy Jones and Carey Jones of Sanford; sister, Becky Blakley of Charlotte; brother, Joe Holt (Susan) of Aberdeen; and her special friend Judy Warf.
