Annie Lee McDowell

Annie Lee Everett McDowell, 87 of Roxboro, Formerly of Sanford passed away Tuesday morning May 8, 2018. Graveside services will be at 11:00am Friday at Lemon Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. McDowell was born in Lee Co, daughter of the late Lee “Nick” Everett and Ora Hall Everett. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ronny McDowell Jr; brothers Calvin Joe and Jimmie Everett; sisters, Winnie Woody, and Elsie Hilliard. Mrs. McDowell enjoyed sewing and quilting and her word search puzzles.

Mrs. McDowell is survived by her daughter, Sarah McDowell Smith of Roxboro; son, Ronny McDowell Sr of Roxboro; granddaughter, Melissa McDowell; three sisters, Lucille C. Stout, and Betty Knight both of Sanford, and Allean Jones of Roxboro; a brother, Foster Everett of Lemon Springs.
