Allie Faye Wofford

Allie Faye Childress Wofford, 89 of Sanford passed away Tuesday February 25, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday at Grace Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

Mrs. Wofford was born in Harnett Co, daughter of the late Garris Odell Childress and Jessie McNeill Childress. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wesley Wofford and brothers, Hayden Childress, Dallas Childress, and Kenneth Childress. Mrs. Wofford was a longtime member of Grace Chapel Church and the Annie Belle Register Sunday School Class. She loved working in the yard, gardening and cooking.

Mrs. Wofford is survived by her daughter, Sheila Smith and husband Wayne of Sanford; a son, Steven Wesley Wofford of West End; grandchildren, Jessica Clark, Sarah Beth Wofford, Sydney Wofford, Brian Smith and Jeremy Smith; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Vonel Bullard, and Wonza Davis.

The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00pm Saturday prior to the Funeral.
