Allen Jay Eads

Allen Jay Eads, 75 of Sanford passed away Saturday March 7th, 2020. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at the Family Cemetery.

Allen was born in Lee Co, a son of the late Jay W. Eads and Maxie Denkins Eads. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Simpson Eads; sons, Jason Eads, and Shannon Eads. Over the course of his career, he worked for Sanford Coca Cola, Sanford Furniture, Magneti Marelli, and Moore County Solid Waste. He enjoyed country music, playing golf, NASCAR, and football.

Mr. Eads is survived by sisters, Barbara E. Hickman (James) of Sanford, Ann E. Grant (Wayne) of Hampstead, NC; brother, Marshall Eads (Nadine) of West Palm Beach, FL; Step Children, Kathleen Davis and Danny Clark.

The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 pm Wednesday prior to the Memorial service.
