Aline Harriett Rogers

Aline Harriett Kelly Rogers, 92 of Sanford passed away Saturday February 16, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Thursday at Northview Christian Church. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers was born in Broadway, a daughter of the late Sion H. Kelly and Omie Grey Kelly. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Atlas Rogers; sisters, Christine Drokin, and Dorothy Cummings; a brother, Sion F. Kelly. She was a Charter Member of the Northview Christian Church and served as Church Secretary and Treasurer, taught Sunday School and sang in the Church Choir.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by two daughters, Phyllis R. Dixon (Ray) of Cary and Ava J. Davidson of High Point; sons, Scott Rogers and wife Junko of Severn, MD and Steve Rogers of Sanford; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Patterson of Mamers, and Gertie Roberts of TN.

The family will receive friends 2:00pm Thursday at the church.
