I worked with William at the City of Sanford, Water Dept. from 1980-85. I wasa meter reader also. William and I were the only meter readers. That job was a lot harder than it sounded. He was a hard worker and a really nice person. I still remember going to see his daughter Sarah in a Christmas play at school about 1982 with William. We asked our boss , and went one morning from work. I made a birdhouse for his son John. I think it was for Boy Scouts. I really hate I missed the funeral. I did not hear about his passing until later. He will be missed.

Grew up with William and brother Eston. Played cards with them and their Dad. Played baseball with them. Lots of fun and laughter. William will be missed. So sorry for his passing and praying for comfort for the family. Sorry conditions prevented me from coming to pay respects in person. G. W. Godfrey

My grandparents and William's parents were good friends. He was a life long friend to me and was my little league baseball coach. Our team loved him like a big brother. God Bless You Coach.
