Billy Denkins

Billy Hubert Denkins, 80 of Sanford passed away Monday June 28, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Buffalo Cemetery. Born in Lee co, Billy was a son of the late Jessie Carl Denkins and Eleanor Mae Phillips Denkins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Denkins. He was very particular about things and loved a clean and neat yard. He also loved to collect cars. Mr. Denkins is survived by his daughter, Kelly Lee Denkins (Jeffrey McAuley) of Sanford; son Scott Denkins (Susan) of Sanford; sisters, Betty Moody of Siler City and Barbara Denkins of Sanford; brothers, Broadus Denkins (Venita), Bruce Denkins (Lisa), and Benny Earl Denkins (Brenda); grandchildren, Heather, Christy, and Nikki. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
